I see it's been a minute since my last blog. I guess what they say is true, having grandkids will take up your time. Boy do they ever! And we're not complaining! Chandler is 4 and Beau is 2. We love every minute we get to be with them. They are usually a consistent sight here at Twin Oaks during the summer weekends.
I'm still busy enjoying my 'other' full-time job in Baxter. And Paul keeps busy doing everything for the resort. This time of year he is very busy with his syrup sapping business. That just keeps growing and growing every year.
I have updated the website to include availability that is current as of today. Still waiting on some final commitments and deposits to come through.
We are starting to think of everything that has to be done before opening. Not sure how it all get's done. But I know one thing, if it wasn't for our RV friends and family, we couldn't do half of what get's accomplished. We are very blessed.
We did lose 3 of our RV seasonal friends this past winter. That will be a big change in our atmosphere this summer. It just so happens, with their passing, it didn't open up any seasonal sites. That is a positive with the changes that will be upon us. It will be hard enough as it is.
This past December, we had to make the decision to have our beloved pups, Bailey and Abbey put to sleep. So if you are one of the blessed folks that bring their 4 legged friends with you, please stop by with them so we can get our doggy fix. We are dog-sitting right now and it has been awesome to have a dog around again. And NO, WE ARE NOT GETTING A DOG :)
That's all I have for now. Looking forward to seeing you all again. And if you haven't been to Twin Oaks, please stop by and say hi!
Take care and be safe!
